I am after a Sony VMC-K100 mic adapter. I understand they are discontinued so I will need to buy one second hand so if there is anyone out there who wants to sell one I am willing to buy!

There's one for sale on eBay at the moment.

Seller claims they go for $200 on ebay- yeah, right!
I got mine for like $15 from B&H. If you don't buy one, I have a Sony plug that plugs into the intelli shoe and has wires for connecting a mic. I got that then like a month later the vmck100 came available, so i never engineered it to work with my VIVE mic.
I have a vmck100 for my sony HC3 and with the L bracket, it worked out pretty well. I now use a Canon HV40.

They were, in fact, $20 at B&H when they had them. The last two I searched for on eBay were in fact sold for more than $200 each. Easy enough to verify.

And dclark, you know me well enough from our many discussions at sony hdv info to know I wouldn't lie about that or anything else.
