Any get the Harmony 890 to set the lights for different levels say for DVD/BR vs HDTV, vs sports watching? What rf controller do you have for your lights and how did you get your 890 to contol them? Also is it cheap as I would like the rf contoller for the lights to be cheap in price that is?

I have an 890 PRO and have Zwave RF light controllers that I control with the 890. I turn the lights off the lights for DVD/BD viewing and I turn them on for all other activities. I also have a 50% brightness available.

Get free Zwave lamp controllers at: http://www.zwaveproducts.com/

cheapest rf remote your going to get for zwave that is decent will be http://store.homeseer.com/store/HA09C---Z-Wave-Remote-Control-Intermatic-HomeSettings-P14C56.aspx

you could try the remote from GE Jasco also. i haven't tried them yet. the advanced supposedly supports thermostats but i haven't had a chance to pick one up and try it.

I am not familiar wth that specific Z-wave product, but if you are talking about controlling individual table lamps consider the HA03 controllers which are available free as I described above. Use Promo Code HAR100 and they do not require proof of purchase. :)

I'm about to take the plunge, but not sure if I should go for the HA06 or HB14 or even HB18 by Intermatic. My lights are 2 halogen lights. They'll be mated with my 890 remote. Any input is appreciated.
