hey guys just got into recording, and i just want to get your take on the best way to adjust the settings on my camera to get the best video, especially tips on indoor/dark use, cause i really don't wanna see the little white specks and what not like the rest of you probably haha and the LOUD MIC that seems to give a bit to much white noise. Besides that Ive got a mac so if anyone can point be in some semi beginner software to really get into editing. So this is a cry for help! anyone willing, i thank you very much =D

I have an SR-11. If by "white specks" you mean grain or video noise I find that under low-light conditions, setting the scene mode to "Twilight" avoids the video noise.

As far as white noise from the microphone, I have never noticed any.
