I just bought the D-R560KU DVD recorder. I have hooked it up to a Olevia 532-B12 using a Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue).
( The TV has RF Inputs-Standard definition TV, 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i.Video Inputs-1 ATSC/NTSC combo tuner input, HDMI, 2 component (VGA runs as third component source), VGA, 2 S-video, 1 composite)

My problem is intermittent. When I load a DVD (various kinds, mine I have recorded, commercial movies) the audio is garbled and then if I stop the DVD and go back to the TV (regular cable) the audio is garbled too.

Now I can fix both issues by using the HDMI pushbutton on the DVD remote control by switching to another HDMI mode (ie 480, 720, 1080). However it is a temporary solution. I have to do this every time.

I have tried using all HDMI modes to start the DVD (480,720/1080). All are garbled when I start the DVD and when I stop the DVD and go to cable tv.

I have tried unplugging the DVD recorder for 2-3 mins and this doesn't make it work correctly either.

What is wrong and how can I fix it. Any body have any solutions
