Anybody know if this TV accepts PC video levels i.e 0-255? i seem to be encountering some problems w/ the new 360 levels settings, the tv has a dark blacks and light blacks setting and the 360 has standard, intermediate and extended reference levels. With the advice i've recieved so far im thinking the best combo for me would be extended360 forcing RGB output (HDMI) and light black levels on the TV. Is this correct?

Also i've tried a few calib's and still am squirmy about the picture. Anyone w/ THIS set care to share some settings (most i've found are for similar sets).

My current settings are as follows

Picture-52
Brightness-36
Color-36
tint- -7 for warm and +4 for normal
sharpness varies with games or movies but usually 13-36
VideoNR:off
MpegNR:off
Blacks:Light
Color Mgmnt: off
Color Tempature : Normal or Warm(for movies)

These came from a friend who has the same set and used a dvd to calib but i know you can get more accurate results using HD sourced callibration material, anyone done this?

Please read this thread.

When you get serious about doing it right, we are here to help you. Copying settings is not doing it right.

Well thats true i don't know what others viewing conditions will be like. Also true that i live in rural manitoba and if i wanted a pro-callibrator to come up here we'd have to fly him in. Also true that as i said i've tried a few callibs with NON HD source, and again there isn't a circuit city nearby we can run to and get a blu-ray callibration disk. So what i am looking for is a few callibs that have been done in this fashion to see how much they differ. I had no idea this forum was so far up its own ass.

And more importantly i asked some simple questions to owners of this set as i've searched the net all over and can't find the info im looking for. Like the first question i asked which had nothing to do with "copying settings", i asked if this TV accepts PC video levels to anyone who owns this TV and knows this. Not to some jackass who was not willing to answer the question.

So, if anyone OWNS this set and can assist with some of the above it would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to try the owner's thread for your set in the flat panel displays area, as well as the HTPC and gaming areas. And your owner's manual, which may tell you about how and if it accepts PC levels.

And BTW, your second question, which was posted several hours before Michael responded, asked about sharing settings. Chill out.
