Looks interesting.

System Requirements make no mention about Operating System. Wonder if this is both compatible with, and also takes advantage of, 64-bit Vista??

Anybody know?

Anybody used this yet?

Quad core requirement is a good thing. It'll make use of all cores then.

I'm aware. Just regurgitating wording used above.

I'm anxious to give this software a try.

It'll be a bit before I get to try it. My mac is too weak & I'm waiting until next week to order a Windows PC/build.
Also, my camera doesn't even arrive until tomorrow.
I do plan to shoot some aerial footage Wed. though

Well I like the interface. It seems to run smooth, although I do get pauses randomly ("not responding" in the task manager). I assume this is due to Video Pro X being 32-bit & I'm running Vista x64

So far I like what I see. I'm a novice but almost everything is intuitive so far.

It's using 2.3GB RAM (8GB available) & 43% CPU (i7 920 stock).

Attemping to burn to a DVD9 now

Keep us posted. I know I'm still interested (although the Vista 64-bit freezes are a bit of a concern). I'm leaning toward Sony Vegas Pro at this point, but haven't made a firm decision or laid down any dollars yet.
