I have the Monoprice Splitter 3049 connecting my Onkyo TX-SR705 (input), to my Samsung LCD TV 650, and a Optoma HD 81 Projector (Outputs). When the receiver is set to the Satellite dish I get a distorted signal and eventually the "mode not supported" info box in the TV and nothing in the projector. When the receiver is set to the PS3 it displays immediately the "mode not supported" box. If I connect either the PS3 or the Satellite box to the splitter, the response of TV and projector is the same. Do I have a defective unit, or am I doing something wrong in the set up?
