I was riding on one of the HeliTours and right before landing the tour guide said "Thank you for choosing Higgins tours, have a pleasant holiday" (paraphrased)

Has anyone else heard this, or may it be because of the holiday week?

I will admit that I have never actually taken a Helitour. I always shoot the pilot and then take the helicopter.

Can't say that I have. I'll have to play it on Thursday to see.

One of the achievements is to ride all the heli rides. So be nice to your tourguide next time LOL

"Holiday" = vacation. Since he's a tour guide maybe he's just telling you to have a good vacation.

Maybe the heli-tour guide is from the UK :).

I know nothing like that would happen in the real world. Nobody in America speaks with an accent for instance.

The real mystery here is why you're still playing GTA4.

I've played the game. The helicopter pilot does not have a British accent. I think the game creators were a little confused when writing the script because I could never imagine anyone in NY wishing someone a pleasant holiday. It would be something more like, "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

Why do you have to come in here and troll? We've all heard the complaints...blah blah blah.

Well, it is Liberty City and not NY:) I've actually found NY to be a lot friendlier than the "stereotypes" that everyone says about it. Of course, it's no Toronto, which I'm convinced is the friendliest city around....even saw two hoodlums give an old lady change for the subway at 11:00 at night (I thought she was going to get mugged in front of me). And as we were standing on a corner looking around, a lady stopped to ask us if we were lost. When we said we were just looking for restaurants, she started naming them all. Which is no big deal, but then 2 more people overheard her and came over, and all 3 had a big discussion about where to send us to. I was taken aback. Sure, Canada sucks, but the people are friendly.

I'm still playing it. The real mystery here is why you even bothered to post in the thread.
