View Full Version : Weird behavior after NXE update?

360 was forking fine before the update, and initially fine after... Then, a few freezes here and there in the dash. Rock Band 2 froze once. I installed Madden 09 to the HDD, played fine for a bout a day or two.

Then, Madden started freezing. Sometimes right way, sometimes after about 20 minutes. I uninstalled Madden, still freezes. Then, I got the RROD. tried to reboot 3 times, no go. Turned it off, hit the eject button to get the disc out, booted right up.

Now, it freezes randomly, trying to connect to live with a BC game causes RROD, and sometimes, upon bootup, the RROD occurs, but it still boots with the lights flashing. You can navigate the dash with the remote, but The controllers won't connect. Now, Madden freezes after about 2 minutes, but other games work fine, if the dash doesn't freeze first.

Could be coincidence, but it was working 100% perfect before the update. Shame, because I love the NXE. I wish it would just permanent RROD already so I could send it off.

Anyone else getting different behavior from their 360?

RRoD post-NXE.

Probably just a coincidence, but it happened nevertheless. During hard drive play.

never anything in a game but sometimes when i pull up the blade version of the nxe it will not back out instantly... it takes 10 secs or so for some reason.

RRoD also after update. Possible coincidence aswell.

My Elite got the RROD a few weeks ago. The P.O.S replacement MS sent me just RROD'd tonight. I'm guessing it is because they probably sent me someone else's piece of crap and it is just coincidence with the NXE.

Had a strange thing on the first day where the audio was dropping in and out it was highly annoying. I havent been able to reproduce it. It was very rapid.

I voted working flawless, but I forgot about the 20 second hang I have when backing out of viewing friends. D'oh!

So it's mostly working fine for me.
