I am relocating my equipment stack to my network closet about 50ft away from where I will be controlling from. I want to control my plasma via IR but my Denon reciver, PS3, Sony DVD player, and UVerse DVR via RF. A stretch goal is to be able to conrol my living room wireless Lutron Maestro dimmers and eventually my projector with the same remote.

The TSU6000 may be a bit dated but I already have it and have a little experience programming it using the IR. Reading these threads it seems like more folks are using URC or Logitech.

Is the TSU6000/RFX6000 combo up for the task? I dont have the extender so it is not an issue to abort my Pronto plans and go with another more capable unit. For looks, I like large the touchscreen units but needs to be DIY capable. Also was considering the Marantz RC9500.

Remember the 6000 does not do RF directly it only talks to the RFX which then gets distributed as IR. But that said the Pronto is definitly up to the task of controlling everything (I have no personal experience with the Lutron systems) if programmed properly.
