what should i try to reduce yellowish tinge in an image with these settings?

Greetings

Think of the color triangle ... rGB on the corners and the side are the secondaries.

Take away blue and the picture becomes more yellow ...

hi thanks

i've noticed when i decrease green and up blue and red together the image does look more violet in a way...

not sure how to balance it all out

Where do you see the yellowish tinge? In color images, or on gray/white images? If the former, NO. If the latter, yes. R/G/B gain controls are for adjusting the color of GRAY and WHITE. They are NOT for adjusting color decoding, hue/saturation etc. You're not clear where you see the yellowish issue, so you need to make sure you're using the right tool for the problem, otherwise you're just making a new problem and not addressing the actual problem.

when playing games on my xbox 360 but i do have color quite high, default is 50 and i'm up at 73

reason for wanting to get into these factory settings (Service menu) was because my xbox 360 looked very drowned in image quality compaired to my playstation 3 on the same HDMI cable so i've been playing around with settings
