Hey everyone,

I have tried looking for this, but couldn't find anything. Here is my problem.

I have a 5080-HD, been using it for several months, did the break in as shown on here...I play a lot of games and watch movies.

Today I noticed this greenish flicker/haze dance in the background moving everywhere. Its mostly on the right middle size...but its on every input, even without picture. (Figured posting settings wouldn't help here)

I though it was my Xbox360, but its not. I haven't run a white screen to see if that will fix it, but has anyone had this problem? What is going on? I have speaker towers near the TV...within inches, but they are shielded. (PSB Speakers)

I have average settings on here...so I am not doing anything that hasn't been suggested as settings...I am just worried something is wrong. Does Tech Support come to your house? I have a three year warranty on it, but its still in its one year warranty.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Please help me!

Plasmas aren't affected by speakers, so that's not the problem.

Update:

Tried the white screen twice, no big improvements. I figured it wasn't my speakers, but I figured any information I can provide the better.

I am going to call tech support. I am still on the 1-year warranty and I have a 2-year warranty with Best Buy. I am not sure what is the problem, but I hope it is something simple. I doubt they would replace this tv with a 1080P one ;)

Any more suggestions you can add or solutions please post. I will keep everyone updated and maybe try getting some pictures. (I don't have a camera, might bring the bad one home from work).
