I sent my Mits HC6000 to the shop and got it back yesterday. Now my switcher will not work with it. It is the Belkin PureAV HDMI 3>1 model. I tired several different ways of powering everything up with no luck yet.
I am sure it is a sequence issue, but have not got it working yet.
Does anyone have this same switch and know what sequence everything needs to be powered on?

if you don't get any responses, you could also try asking your question here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=168

Hmmm - did not realize there was a separate section for HDMI. Maybe a moderator can move this thread. If not I will re-ask it there.

probably best to have it in both places to get the HDMI switch crowd and the projector crowd :)

I trust you tried the source direct first, and it worked? Also, did you try another switch perchance?

Actually tried all of my sources. I do not have another switch. Today I plan on killing the power to everything then restarting it all at the same time.

Try unplugging all, resetting and boot up again. Start with the source, then the switch then the projector. Not sure that will solve anything, but won't hurt.

Tried this over and over this morning so now am giving up.
What brand of switch is pain free for setting out there?

rgathright,
The monoprice 4x2 matric switcher works well for me. I am actually using one as a two-way splitter because I have not found a splitter that works for my consistently for two long runs (40' and 75')
If you have an universal remote, there are discrete codes for each combination of source/output. Harmony has them in the database already.

When I tried the first switch it was a monoprice, but it would not work with my Panny Blu-ray player.
