Ok so i just bought an elite

Before, i was using an old arcade with with an HDMI cable I got from radio shack

Does it matter if I use the cable that game with the elite, or the radio shack cable?

Same question goes for the power cord, im still using the one from the arcade, will it matter?

hdmi cables should show no difference, power bricks will be fine, but verify that the inside of the plug (on the console side) is the same, and that power output is the same.

HDMI is digital so all cables should deliver the same picture.
My elite had a different powercord then my arcade so might want to check that.
