Thanks for your help.
Here is my situation.
I am going to have a Flat Screen on the wall and about 6-8 feet away. behind the wall I plan on installing a receiver, DVD, and cable box. The plan is to run everything thru the receiver via HDMI and I would like to have one remote.
I understand you can do RF or an IR relocation with the eye on the TV but my knowledge on this is minimal. And my lack of correct terminology is killing my search results.
I saw something like the URC RFS200 PowerPak Bundle w/ MasterControl RF20 and PowerBlaster on amazon
but if i use that type, then one of the wires needs to go to the tv?
But all the tv will do is turn on, as everything will go thru the receiver and cable box.
Or, the Denon remote will control everything, is there an IR setup for this to extend the range thru walls?
please help and thanks again:D

What's your budget?
An RF remote will also do IR so your hidden components will be controlled by the RF extender and the TV can be controlled by IR from the remote. You could run an IR emitter from the hidden components' RF extender to the TV and you would not ever have to point the remote at the TV, but that might be a lot of wire running for little benefit.
The key here is your budget.
IR repeater is also a good idea for what you're doing, but you would need to make a pinhole in your wall. You would put the eye somewhere inconspicuous around your tv and run the wire through the wall to the components on the other side.

Have a look at post #2 in this link. I think it is what you require.

Has anyone used this IR repeater?

My set up is an LCD front projector with the equipment soon to be installed in an equipment closet beside the home theater (i do have access to run a wire from the theater to the almost finsihed equipment closet).
I read about the one that i believe kiwi built, but with the exchange rate right now (I live in Canada) the parts are starting to get expensive. I've been debating back and forth between this and the RFS200 remote (URC's RF 20 and Power blaster combination), but that means i have to teach my wife to use a new remote :o I also considered the powermids, but it only has one emitting eye, so it won't work with the amount of equipment i have (Denon 3808, Panasonic Blu-ray 35 and soon to be cable box.
Any thoughts on the Channel Vision ir distribution? Would the light from the
LCD projector affect it too much? I can move the receiving eye away from the projector light. Or should i scrap all of this and go back to my old 27" TV and VCR? (just kidding about the last part).

I had the power mids and they did not do the trick, nuff said on that topic.
What do you consider expensive?
The entire set up with one eye and a 3 pak of emiters is under $100.00.

I really have to learn math again. I added in 4 of the receiving eyes rather than 4 of the emitters that i need. That makes the price much better (even with the canadian exchange rate). Thanks again, i'll definitely look into this one.
