I can get the 1080p 42" Panasonic PZ85 for the same price as the 720p 50" Samsung (PN50A400) that's available at the Black Friday sales.

I will be using it to hook up with computer usage also and thus leaning towards the 42". Also to show of pictures and such on the wall. Of course, also for Blue Ray.

However, I'd like to hear from those of you in this forum since it's been my primary source of info.

How far will be your seating distance?

Actually, not fixed seating range. Will use as computer monitor, presentation monitor, picture frame, video, blue ray etc - so a range of usage.

To me, this is a no-brainer.

That 42" will shrink right before your eyes.

Get the 50". Leave the cannoli.

if the 400 is basically the same set as the 450 get it
