How would you record VHS onto a DVD? I do not see a VHS slot like the combos. androc_123 11-25-08, 11:14 PM Sorry, should not have had a question mark after the first sentence. Please disregard the typo. wajo 11-25-08, 11:20 PM Thanks for your reply? How would you record VHS onto a DVD? I do not see a VHS slot like the combos. Neither is a combo. You need to play from a separate VCR via Composite or S-Video connection. androc_123 11-25-08, 11:29 PM Thanks a million. CitiBear 11-26-08, 04:33 AM If you're willing spend a bundle to obtain your dream machine, and you're willing to shop eBay, you could look for a used or "new old stock" Panasonic EH-75. This was the only reliable DVD/HDD/VHS triple-combo ever made. They are highly prized and out of production for over a year, so they sell for serious coin and the bidding is usually fierce. JVC makes a couple of similar machines for the "pro" market, but they are absolute junkers that self destruct within weeks and cost $2000 new (the JVCs on eBay for $400 have already broken down- the sellers just don't mention the fact). |
