anyone know where to buy the professional series panasonic plasmas? i hate their shiny black plastic crap at the store... ph11, pf11, ph10.... etc..... anyone????

Not many people have them at retail stores since its a specialty product. I set them up at my retail store and many people like it for many applications and that they have more settings and tweaking ability.

Has anyone seen a comparison between the 58PF11UK and the consumer model 58PZ800U?

I am upgrading my family room setup from the Panny TH-50PHD7UY that has served me quite well for 5 years. I bought a 58PZ800U because unlike 5 years ago, price is an issue today (wife and baby). It was time to go 1080p and 58-63" is the best size for the space in my family room.
I'll be pairing it with the Panny DMP-BD35 BluRay player when they both arrive on Wednesday.

So here I am watching football on the old faithful and I'm still impressed with it's 720P/1080i picture.

I'm a little concerned going from a Pro model to a Consumer model. I have heard that the consumer models have closed the gap somewhat in recent years. Anyone have experience with this?
