What mode should I pick in HCFR for DPT94B sensor to measure the greyscale on CRT RPTV and Plasma TV: LCD or CRT?
According to Greyscale and Color Calibration guide one should use LCD mode with Eye One Display for CRT RPTV unless there is a problem. I previously calibrated my CRT RPTV with Eye One display LT in CRT mode as HCFR would hang in LCD mode at 50 IRE~70 IRE. DTP94 works fine in both modes. In CRT mode I get measurements close to those I obtained with Eye One Display in CRT mode. I've attached the files for comparison.
