isn't 1024 x 768 a 4:3 aspect ratio , why some 42"plasma turns out to be 16:9 with 1024*768 pixel..

if i output from htpc to 1024 x 768 pixel plasma(example like Kuro 428 model) with 16:9, its gotta look weird right since 1024 x 768 should be 4:3 ratio.

if i wanna output from htpc , will it be better if i get a better supportive pixel (16:9 ratio) like 1,365 x 768 , 1,920 x 1080 ?
my worries is that 1,024 x 768 with 16:9 might not be suitable for htpcs.

Right, you'll want to run a 16:9 resolution to it so that your desktop and such is rendered at the proper aspect ratio.
