so I have the HD transfer cable that you put the HD onto and then a USB on the other side to plug into the 360

but I dont have that disc needed for the transfer to happen

I have called MS but they say they cant help me

is there maybe somewhere to download this from - or maybe someone has this disc and could rip it and post it for me to download and use

I've got the disc, but it's a secure disc. I can't rip it and even if I could I believe you'd needed a modded console to play it. I'm sending it off with my used cable. and then someone else is supposed to get it after that from him.

EBay, and expect to pay a lot. But don't worry, you can turn around and sell it for the same price once you're done with it.

current lowest ebay price is $10. highest is about $40. this sux. i need the cable too. but dont want to wait 3-4 weeks for the cable to arrive. i'll check craigslist.

you should be able to copy the disc no problem it should only be a CD not a DVD and

CDBurnerXP will copy it and its free - nothing illegal about this IMO its not like its something that allows you to hack anything its only for the transfer of data from one HD to another and only works for that purpose

I can wait its just that I sold my other 360 to a friend in order to get the one with HDMI (since I now have a Pioneer pro-111fd and it only has 1 component in) and he thought that he was getting it like now and he already gave me the money for it

I had the cable and thought that thats all I needed - but I was wrong

oh yea and since it is a Holiday this week it will probably take longer



if you could maybe rip the disc (IMGBurn should work fine) and maybe I could FTP it from you or something - or maybe you could upload the .iso file to some free file hosting service for download
