Hey guys.. I just purchased my first LCD TV and need some advise with the setup in the room. I have a fireplace and would like to mount it above it. I'm unsure if I need to worry about the heat from the fireplace or not. I was thinking about putting shelving under the TV to place the components on. I assume this would help with the heat as well. Also any idea how to hide the wires going from the components to the TV? Any advice in welcomed!

Pics / type of fireplace (brick, wood, tile, etc)? It will help to know what you are mounting on. If it's drywall, you can run the cables through the wall.
