I am building my first stack as such including my 80gb PS3 and I wanted a little advice on a suitable receiver and network design I guess. Don't have massive sums of $$$ to spend however I came across a posting at some point (can't find anymore unfortunately) which suggested that I would be able to use a Sony 5300ES to take INPUT from my PS3 over HDMI + my satellite reciever + my media server on ethernet + my hifi.
Then OUTPUT the vid related media it to my new LG panel over a single HDMI and audio to 3 separate zones throughout the house.
Apparently the PS3 being the hub of all this activity orchestrating the lot from a PSP with suitable firmware?
Sorry for the sketchy description, I have checked some of the basic specs and it does seem plausible.
Someone must already have been down this road before I'm thinking its probably even a regular newbie question :)
