Anyone familiar with this? How well does it work? Does it stream the HD (720p) titles from Netflix well enough? Thanks.

I'm going to try it out tonight when I get home. Sign up for the 14 day free trial and see how it goes. I think the cost after that is $30 for a license key but I'm not sure if that's per month or for the year.

There is a much longer post on Playon. Do a seasrch and you can probably find out everything you want to know. I have been using Playon now for about 2 months starting with the 45 day free trial (I think it is now shorter) and then purchased a license after the trial ended.

While its had its fair share of issues, the support team has been able to resolve most of those that affected me. They are constantly trying to update the software to make it compatible with changes that occur everyday with netflix, Hulu, etc..

As of today, Playon supports 480p Hulu content and standrard Netflix content. It does not support any HD video stremaing that I am aware of. I know they are working on making it compatible with Netlfix Silverlight. I don't use that player for my Netflix account so maybe that is the one that supports HD content?? If so, it sounds like they will support it in the near future.

Other than that, they are syaing that there are many more updates coming in the future so I'm sure HD streaming will be one of them at some point.

Edit********* The $30 registration fee is a ONE TIME fee so it is actually a great deal considering the limited options we have for the PS3.
