anyone have any experience with this arcade stick?

It's moderately priced at $60.00. I know there are super nice custom ones but I don't want to drop $150.00 - $200.00.

If you have any insight into this controller or one I should set my sights on please let me know.

HD Remix is the culprit by the way...IT'S F'N SICK!!!

I have it, I like it. You pretty much NEED an arcade stick for fighting games. And the Hori is decently priced and peforms very well.

It's a good joystick for the price. I'm not a fan of the joystick or buttons they use, but I'm used to Sanwa sticks and buttons. But as you said, you're not going to get that unless you buy a custom stick. There are also Mad Catz joysticks coming out soon. A normal edition and a tournament edition with Sanwa parts.

You can mod your stick with better parts.

I just picked it up yesterday at Fry's.

1.) It is a decent arcade stick that makes a wonderful cocopheny of clicky noises when trying to do Zangief's super move. I love it.
2.) My laptop instantly recognized the controller as the Hori EX 2 and it is great for solitare; no not really, but it is nice for my little arcade collection.
3.) It seems easy to mod the controller with better parts if that is what someone wants to do.

Overall, I was doing well with Fei Long with the regular controller, but now I am able to get busy with rising dragon kicks at a whim.

I'm trying to return the one I got a week ago at Gamestop because I think it's garbage, but they're saying I can't, even though the little punk told me I could if I didn't like it. I am ten times better with the 360's crappy d-pad than this monstrosity.

I have it. Needs to be wireless. The clicking is annoying. Overall an ok stick. I love it for track and field

the clicking may be annoying - but its inherent to 99.9% of arcade joysticks (including the good stuff). if noise is a show-stopper, stick with pads.

that makes no sense. i can access every thread (read only) even without logging in. everything is public. are you sure you are going to the right place? haha.

I need some info on a gamepad that would be good for fighting games. No more than 60$.. Much cheaper if possible but still a big step over the normal 360 controller.

I am thinking I should just wait on the SF IV pads.

so i picked the stick up and i definately like it more than the analog stick or dpad. its taking some time to adjust but overall its a much more precise way to play this type of game.

i'd recommend it to anyone looking for a budget arcade style stick.

I got a used one a while back at GS for $29. Changed out the slick lolipop with one from Lizard Lick. I like it a lot better than the d pad for fighting games.
