Currently I have a Westinghouse 32" 720p, a cheapie I got on sale about 1.5 yrs ago from BB for 550. Anyway, after acquiring new beauties such as Bluray and GoW2, CoD4/5, etc...I want a new TV.

Ive been doing a lot of looking around and have narrowed it down to a couple.

Ive read that Toshiba has terrible support and isn normally recommended. Is this necessarily true?
Also I know Vizio is a real budget brand, and people over at the BluRay forum automatically chastise you for mentioning it. Are they really that bad?
And in a bedroom, would 720p make a huge difference against 1080p? With Bluray and all it should right?
