I have a Sony Bravia XBR series that I have mounted on the wall. The cabinet that holds all the components by the time the cables go through the wall is about 14 ft. In order not to lose much signal what kind of HDMI cable would you get? I looked on the Monster sight and they say the further away you need the major high speed cables such as the M series. Is this really accurate or is there another option for great cables out there? I really am not sold on Monster even though that is what I have hooking everything up, I would love a recommendation of another brand. Last thing- would it be a HDMI to HDMI cable?
Thanks in advance!

Go to www.monoprice.com.

They will sell you a 15' HDMI cable for like $22 vs what ever price it is monster wants for their cables.

The whole point of HDMI is that it is a digital signal, so either the cable gets the signal there or it doesn't pretty much and 15' is not a long run for a cable like this.

Thank you, I was worried that I was going too long a distance for a good signal. I will check them out. I think the monster cables are way over priced!
