Searched and can't find step by step. Sorry for the entry level question.
Have a Comcast DVR HD and one plasma, Panasonic projector and a rear projection tv in the downstairs.
3 Boxes HD DVR that are costing me a fortune. Taking 2 back saving 67 bucks a month.
HOW do I split the signal from one box to the other tv's, projector. Same thing on all is fine if that is all I can do.
Problems: Harmon Kardon and other receiver no HDMI. Panasonic Projector DVI only.
About 25 foot to each tv that I want to split.
What exactly do I need? I am sorry I need so much assist.

Thanks in advance

You need to confirm if the DVR can output both component and HDMI simultaneously first. If it can you can run HDMI to one device and split the component output to two of the others. If it can't output both you'd need to run component to all 3 devices.

Look up the make and model in the Recorders section for further help or if you have the cables try hooking it up to see if both outputs work at the same time.

To split up the component connections you'll probably end up needing a component distribution amp also. Something like this for example - http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=2402&sku=41065.

You also have the problem of corntrolling the DVR (remote) from the other two locations. If you can live with the locals on the RPTV, you can use HDMI->DVI on the projector, component on the plasma and no connection to the RPTV (use the built in tuner (QAM) connected directly to the coax).
