Does anyone sell an AV rack you can sort of customize? More specifically, I have a 50" by 50" opening (essentially a short doorway without a door) into a little (and short) room that I can enter elsewhere. So I'd like to be able to do two normal racks and a vertical one about 10" wide. Any easy way to do that?
I'd like it to be nice, ideally able to put in drawers and with faceplates available, but those are aren't the most important things in the world. There's no need for it too look nice at all on the sides or the back, since it is stuck back into the wall.
It should probably be able to hold at least 200 pounds, maybe more.

You can buy the rails to make your own rack.

Its relatively easy to customize your own, essentially you need the main components of rack rail, shelves, screw packs etc

How long are the lengths of rail sold on the RAC Rail sight. It states something about spaces? My equipment will be in a closet where I can access from the rear so I do not need for the rack to slide out. In fact it would be best if it was not on casters. The opening for the component rack is 83.5" tall by 21.25" wide.
Thanks

The rail lengths vary...depending on what "U" size you order. Each U = 1.75 inches. If you want to fill your 83.5 inch space, you will want to get the 45U rails.

Phatempire, have you ordered from this place before...there prices seem very reasonable...at least compared to other rack equipment vendors.
