I asked this same quesiton in my build thread, but it's a worthy topic on it's own that other people can benefit from.

As this is a DIY forum, I'm looking at the various DIY polyurethane crack injection kits on the market. The idea being that this is the best way to seal hairline cracks in a foundation.

In my searching, I've found the various products, and I was wondering if anyone here as used them before, or dealt with the companies providing the products? If there is an AVS Sponsor who sells the product, even better. Speak up!

Radon-Seal Crack injection kit: $139 (http://www.radonseal.com/crack-injection/diy-injection.htm)

or this one:

Applied Technologies : $132 (http://www.appliedtechnologies.com/pages_blocks_v3_exp/index.cgi?Key=516&Field=key_field&catg=crack_repair_material&Exact=Yes&this_sect=Foundation%20Crack%20Repair%20Materials%20and%20Ki ts&thisroot=/pages)

You know, looking at the pictures, I kinda think it may be the same product. They look awfully similar.

UPDATE:

I called radon-seal, turns out they *are* the same product, made by the same people, and both places are simply resellers of the same kit.

Looks like that's really the only option vs. a professional job. The pro's also offer carbon-fiber stapling, which would prevent the wall from moving, but I have no evidence the wall is actually moving.

This is the one I used and it also looks pretty similar:

It definitely did the job. I got the 'seal and peel' option which lets you easily pull the epoxy port adhesive layer off after the filler material cures for a cleaner look.

I paid less than the current price (about 2 years ago).

Well I just ordered two of the radon-seal kits. They were more expensive, but Applited Tech. is in ohio, so I saved on sales tax that way. That, and Radon-seal gave me a second kit at a discount since I didn't need all the accessories, just more injection stuff.

I'll update this thread with my experiences with the stuff and some action photos once I get the stuff in.
