One of my TVs recently broke so I am planning on making the transfer over to HDTV. At first I wanted a DLP then thought about LCD. The thing with LCD is they look terrible at SD and they cost a lot more to get one that has any good features. So now I am really thinking DLP is the one for me. So I know about LCDs that you want a high contrast ratio and 120hz, but what about for DLPs? I want to spend about 1k on it. I also want to get it from a local store, like bes buy or frys or something like that just so I can have the ability to return it if I dont like it. Can anyone recommend a TV for me? My parents have always had mitsubishis and they have lasted forever, and one of my friends has a samsung or something and he is on his third bulb.
