I'm having an issue with my DirecTV DVR, HR 22 and my Denon 2808 reciever.
When I go into setup, HDTV, TV Resolutions on the H22 and and tell it that my TV supports 1080p resolution it does it's test and then comes back and says my set doesn't support 1080p broadcast.
My setup looks like this.
DirecTV HR22 -> Denon 2808 via HDMI into the port marked HDP
Denon 2505 -> Denon 2808 via HDMI into the port marked DVD
Denon 2808 -> Mitsubishi 73835 via HDMI into HDMI-1
When playing back a Blu Ray disc I get 1080p with no issue, but for whatever reason the DirecTV box seems to think the 2808 is incapable of 1080p
