hi,

im new here and just wanted a little help.
i have a normal widescreen tv with normal sky and a vcr under.
i also have surround sound sub behind tv with inputs and all the 4 speakers fitted at ceiling around the room. i have the speaker wires and an svideo cable running through the wall coving.
in the opposite corner to the tv 30 foot away is my projector 9capable of hd)mounted at celing hight which projects onto the wall about 3 by 2 metres.
we use it for dvd's and films on sky.
i have recently bought an xbox 360 and it runs at 1080 on the projector (it looks awsome!)

i need help because under my projector is my hifi cabinet and im wondering if its better to run the sky cable round the room also and fit all the equipment in this cabinet as its under the projector.
if i do this i will need to connect everything to the projector and use the svideo to connect to the tv.
i will soon get a hd tv, if i do, do i need to run just 3 phono leads for this? or is there a max lenght?
if i leave all the equipment under the tv then i will also need to run more leads for the projector hd?
can i use the svideo lead for hd? or is it not the right thickness?
also how does a hd tv or projector detect the source? as it does with a scart?
or can i split it and send the hd signal to both the tv and projector?

thanks
