I have a Sony KV-40XBR700 that will show the picture for about 10 to 15 minutes then it goes blank but the sound continues. I am the original owner and have taken great care of the set. Wondering if anyone has an idea of what may be wrong. I plan on cleaning out dust and checking the fans today. I had to wait till I could get some help to move the TV (which will be later this evening).

Money is very tight for us and if we can't fix it for cheap the kids will have to rough it without the tv. I hope you folks can be of help. Any ideas of where I should start? We have never cleaned out the dust, so I wanted to start there. I'll also check that the fans are spinning (and clean them of course). I figure this has to be done regardless if it is the issue.

Again, any help would be appreciated.
