First time poster here..


Just bought a 42" Lcd 1080P flat panel tv and had a few qustions about my hdc cable box.. it's a scientific atlanta 4240hdc... the wife walked out of the place without a manual and i haven't found one online, so i had a couple questions..


it shows its broadcasting at 1080i, is there a way to set my cable box to
1080p... ? is that possible?


whats the key sequence to open the menu of the cable box..

It can't output 1080p. Doubt you'll even see anything broadcast in 1080p via cable anytime soon either.
