I built a HTPC earlier this year. I had specs for my system which I was able to meet with either some minor hardware/software upgrades or trade-offs. Among the specs are miniturization, stability, multimedia functionality as the top priorities. However, I short-sightedly installed 64-bit Vista. My OS selection was not a problem until I wanted to add firestb which I wanted to include in the functionality of my HTPC. DOH! A few years back I really enjoyed watching copies of recorded HD broadcasts I offloaded from my DCT 6412 to an old XP system I had and want to do it again. Is there any buzz that Tim Moore will build a 64-bit version of drivers for firestb?
