Anyone have a link where I can find how to install a new lamp into this Samsung DLP?

I have had it for 3 years and we turned it on today and it sounded like someone threw a glass on a cement floor....then the display went black and a ! Lamp error came up on the little circle LED display...

I assume I need a new bulb? Also the unit smelled like it was burning went I went close to it.

I will order a new bulb for $150 from Samsung but wondering if I may have bigger issues..

The instructions are right in the front of your TV user's manual. If you have lost it you can get it at the Samsung Website.

Got it. yes the blub blew up. Should I buy from Samsung for $150 or is there a less expensive place? I am in NYC, would be great if I could pick it up so I get it fast.

I would buy from Samsung as I have seen reports of users having problems with bulbs purchased from other Websites. You might not even be able to find a location in NYC that stocks them since there are so many different bulp models to cover all of the PJ or RPTVs.
