I am in the process of finishing our basement and designing the Home Theater. I picked up an APC j15 at CC closing today for $300. This started me thinking, how do I get power conditioning to a front projector suspended from the ceiling?

How has anyone done this?

Do a search for "power bridge" - there are several threads describing how to do this.

I picked up a couple of these (http://www.telephonestuff.com/catalog/model_4937.htm?sid=7AE72D50ED2D20701043DE43D7294560&pid=3464&popup=1) for my projector and subwoofers. Nicely constructed. Aluminum cover painted gray.

Will use these inside my equipment closet and standard outlets inside the theater room.

Or just order a complete KIT (http://www.powerbridgesolution.com/avsspecialorder.html) with everything you need ready to go for $40.00, I think it's cleaner looking and comes with the inwall eletric boxes, template and cord and recessed outlet.

I posted the same question (bigs link). I ordered the monoprice kit for my projector and my powered sub. This is the best way to go, buy a full kit.
