Hi,
I bought a new Samsung HLT6187S for $499 as it they are discontinuing it. Its the only one left, for the price, I figure it was a pretty good deal. I have option to purchase an extended warranty that's suppose to cover all repairs and they will come and clean the TV and such. They want $515 for 3 yrs and $725 for 6 yrs. This costs more than the TV itself. Does this TV have reliability problems such that I would want to purchase the extended coverage, or should I just punt on it, and hope for the best ? Just looking for opinions based on people that have owned or know the details of this model DLP TV. Thanks in advance !
