Functionally they are the same tv, but on the PG70 they apparently added Blue tooth support for whatever you would want that for. Originally they were going to have wireless-n in the PG70 to wirelessly stream inputs to a control box I believe instead of having all the av cables running up to the tv, but it looks like they might have nixed that.
The LG's have tons and tons of user adjustments you can make to the picture and sound which is a plus for some. The physical design of the panel is beautiful (subjectively of course), the sound probably isn't as good as they make it seem, but good none-the-less. The menu system is attractive and effective as well as the remote control.
The thing to watch out for is the black level compared to other panels of similar price which you may not be able to safely compare except in your home, and the occurance of IR. Both of these are about on par with the Samsung plasma's, but behind when compared to Pioneers and Panasonics.
