i have the above tv,my question is i'm pretty sure at least 1 of my bulb's is out. i tried different input's on the tv and different cables to narrow it down,no luck. the screen is pretty much all blue on the component inputs and is reddish on the monolink input.the tv is around 5 years old,it's on a LOT during the day.so any help or places to maybe buy some new bulb's would be a help.or if someone with more knowledge about this problem will chime in and give their opinion would be a great help also. thanks for any help. jerry

Mitsubishi CRT's are very expensive parts and very difficult to replace. The Green crt is no longer available and the other two are like $300 each, plus labor.

Now, it could be something else so I highly recommend you search for a good service company that knows Mitsubishi and does in-home diagnosis and repairs. Spend the $100 and get it diagnosed.

That TV does not have bulbs, it is a CRT RP. It has three color guns and these are not cheap and they are not user changeable.

I don't know whether or not your problem is with one of the guns, but with a TV that old, if you need to change a gun, you should change all three.

While that TV has a nice picture, I would not put a lot of money into it. I have the WS-55313, and while I have had no problems with it, I would get a new TV if something went wrong with it. That's just my opinion.
