Hello folks,

I just spend several hours reading Official Sony KDS owners thread. Some of the issues I have are still not cleared out even from those posts.

KDS-50A2000
SA-8000 Box with Comcast
Sony Blue Ray player.
All connected via HDMI

TV is about 2 years old now. About 6 months ago, the lamp and the projector went out. Since it was under extended warranty, they came and replaced both.

Now after few months, picture doesn't seems exactly great as it used to be. First I thought it was cable box or cable signals. It seems worse with Blueray.

Now the tv is out of extended warranty. I tried resetting everything back to normal. Still seems like there is a degration of pictures. Picture seems a little dark and dull, but when I turn up 'Picture' and 'Color' it seems to blow off highlights. When I turn up the sharpness to get rid of softness, I get artifiacts.

I also see a little crookedness of the picture. I am suspecting that, when the repairman installed the prjector engine, it wasnt seeted properly?

Any input would be apreciated.
