I know this has prolly been answered, i searched but didnt find it tho....

I just got my 42px80u and want to know what is the best setting with my bd 35...

should i set it to 24p or 1080p? i know i can also set it to 720p but 1080p looks better....

so i know i should use my eyes but would like some advice or knowledge from you videophiles!

Is it a pz80? or a px80? you have two different ones listed...

It won't really matter since the Panasonic will internally convert a 24fps input to 60fps anyway. Might as well have the player output 1080p@60Hz so the display doesn't have to any further processing. But you can try it both ways and see if you can see any difference, most likely not.

Since the px is 720 native resolution, i would set the player to that. But if 1080 looks better to you, then go for it.

The PX80 is not 720p native its 768, so the higher 1080 source is better for scaling to the native resolution.
