I have been thinking about either the TH-46PZ80U or the 42'

But this seems like a really good deal with no tax and free shipping. But the deal ends today, so I need to make a decision to bite on this deal.

Thoughts?

Pretty good deal. The 46PZ800 is a much better deal though. Mainly b/c of its color reproduction on the 800U.

Just got this tv and I sit at 9 feet. It is just right. You will be happy with it.

membership is only a few bucks more .... they have other great deals too.... check out the meat!!!

True, but there isn't even one that is around me. Family is already a member of sams club.

Thats an excellent deal, about $300 less than most retailers for the 46PZ80U.
At 9feet viewing distance, a 50" would be better though.
I watch a 46PZ80U from 6-7 feet away and could still move a bit closer to see all the fine details.

Bit the bullet and just paid for the membership. Figured if I didn't really like it I can refund it.

But I now have to go shopping for a new tv stand! :D
