Hi, I got this 2nd hand so that maybe the problem...i have everything connected correct but i maybe missing something...i thought everything was ok till i changed to the dvd....i have audio but no picture but going back to the vcr mode its fine....it will record but only the audio...and it will play dvd fine....i have checked the setting for video and s-video and they are fine and i know the cables are fine or else the source would not work for the vcr mode...i think myself its the unit....i even put in s-video just to check but still the same....but just in case maybe i missed something i posted here...thanks
