i hope someone can help me. i have a toshiba 46xf550u tv and i'm trying to connect it to an 8300HD PVR cable box from Rogers using an HDMI cable. The message i get is "No Video Signal". I know the HDMI input works because i've had a PS3 hooked up to my tv. I called Rogers customer service and they said the HDMI is fine on the 8300HD. I've tried cycling my cable box several times, i've tried all 3 HDMI inputs from the tv, and no luck. Everything works fine if i install component cables but i'm hoping to eliminate 5 cables to 1 cable.

Try changing the output resolution on the cable box to automatic. The cable box could be sending a resolution not supported by the TV. If that does not work I would request a different cable box.
