I do not know if I would call 1080p/24 fps (I assume that is what you are talking about) an issue. As to fan problems. I remember two people having that issue and sending the projector in for repairs.

Is anyone here seeing these problems? Or are Planar owners all watching TV?

I use my 7130 pretty much every night and I have not had any problems with it. I have not worried about trying to get 1080p/24fps. For the price of this projector there is nothing that comes close to it's picture quality.

Watching my Planar 7130 without any issues. The fan sometimes kicks up into higher gear. I think it's heat and dust related. It worked normal the last time I played my Xbox.

Other than that, It's hard to get the picture perfectly rectangular with the adjustable foot but I can live with that.

So yeah, no issues. Mack warranty in hand, so I'm not worried about the bulb price. I haven't even hit 100h yet!

Anyone have their Planar 7130 or 7150 for sale?

I don't about the ones you listed but I would suggest the Marantz VP8600 for $800 while they last.
