Hi all,
I been searching some of the threads which lead me to Homan's in Braintree. They have Linacoustic for $205 for a 48" x 100' x 1" roll ($233 for the 50ft 2" roll) The didn't stock any oc 703 or JM814 unfaced rigid fiberglass though.
Anyone know any other places I can try with (hopefully) better pricing or is this the current rate?

Man that's a bummer, if that's the same place I had sourced in Braintree from the JM website they've gone up in price. Last year the 1" roll went for $150.00 bucks. I should've bought it then, ughhh..
I believe Dave, dcpilgrim was able to secure some 703 or the equivalent from a place in Avon. Hopefully he'll chime in if not send him a pm.
Edit: actually found a pm where we were discussing it. Here is a link to Kamco where he was able to get the 703.

BTW Homan's is the same place which previously had it for $150.00 :mad::(

I couldn't remember the name, but yes, Kamco was the place.
Here were the prices I got, OC 703 is more expensive than Linacoustic. I wound up scrapping it, since my company moved me.
2" unfaced
$80 for 96 sq
2" faced
$ 60 #48 sq
1" unfaced
$80 per carton
Try specialty products and insulation (SPI). http://www.spi-co.com
They claim to have a site at:

I got my 703 at the Austin location two weeks ago, ~$150 for 192 sq ft of 1" 703 or for 96 sq ft of 2" 703 (unfaced).

Kamco in Woburn is quoting me OC703 for $88.81 for a box of 12 (2'x4'). I asked for 2" thickness and I hope he quoted me right (and not the 1" thickness price). I'm thinking of using the oc703 for Corner Bass trap material and linacoustic for the walls assuming 1" for the bottom 48" of the side/rear walls and 2" for the front stage in a 19x14.5' room.

Good price. I was gonna do linacoustic behind the false wall I may just do the 2" 703 and corner bass traps when I get to this point.
