I hooked up a VGA cord from my Computer to my Panasonic PT-AE 3000. It doesn't look the greatest, the colors are off and it is blurry in some places. Overall it still looks ok. I'm not a big tech guy and don't know a lot. Is there a way to adjust this, or does this have something to do with my computer video card?

Certain colors come up, others do not at all, like red. I played with the color settings a little bit, but that did not help.

Computer I'm using is a Powerspec 8986

If you haven't already, you can try to change your display settings on the computer to get the best image possible from the projector.

From the specs on that PC you listed, it very well might be related to the integrated graphics you are running. For one, VGA connections from a PC are mediocre at best in terms of image quality. When connecting to an HD output such as your projector, you're much better off running component, DVI (if available), or using a DVI-to-HDMI converter so that you can display HD content. To do this, you would need to upgrade your graphics card.

A lot of what is available to you will depend on what your intended purpose is for hooking up the PC. General PC work (spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), video games, Media Center?
