I'm building a home theater setup in my new house and am looking for some suggestions for power protection. I'd like something that will protect against surges on electric, coax and ethernet. I've read through some of the other threads:

I'd like something with some sort of a connected equipment guarantee, so I'm not out thousands of dollars if the surge protector fails. Real life experiences dealing with a company on their guarantee would really help me out, as I've previously tried to get money out of APC after one of their UPS failed to protect a computer and they essentially told me that since it wasn't "professionally installed" I was out of luck.

I looked at some PanaMax products, as they seem to be the favorites of the various installers I've interacted with, but their warranty says it's only applicable if you purchase the product from a B&M store (not from eBay, Amazon, etc).

My budget is <= $100. Thanks in advance for any advice.
